Transform your entire home with Weathershield

While doing small jobs inside the home may sometimes take priority, it has now never been easier for your customer to get jobs done outside using Weathershield to ‘Create a feature wall’ outside.

Transforming small spaces by utilising the power of paint can open up areas of your customer’s property that they would have never considered usable before. This works extremely well for people with small outdoor gardens or city dwellers.

Painting a feature wall can create a focal point for their exterior space and may influence where they place garden furniture, plants or host BBQs.

Here is a Step by Step guide for your customers to use to transform their small outdoor spaces:

  1. To get started, they need to clean their walls and treat any areas of mould. Dulux recommend using Weathershield Multi-Surface Fungicidal Wash.
  2. When it comes to choosing their base wall paint, they need one that protects their wall against all the elements of Irish weather, Dulux recommend Weathershield Smooth Masonry.
  3. Next step, creating a circle shape on their wall. All they need to do is cut a piece of string half the width of their desired circle. Pin it to the wall where they want the centre of their circle to be and attach a pencil to the other end.
  4. They then hold the string taught and draw a circle. Then, fill in with a colour of their choice. If they’ve opted for a grey garden wall paint, such as Concrete Grey, then Jasmine White is a great choice for the circle.
  5. Now they have a stenciled circle on their garden wall.
