DAY 1 – Thursday 20th April 2023
Includes a visit to T.J. O’Mahony where the group will be hosted by Sean Moran, Group CEO, Home Project Centre Ltd.
Later in the day there will be the UFEMAT Annual General Meeting of the Presidents, Directors of National Associations & European Manufacturers of Building Materials followed by the results of recent research:
“UFEMAT New Vision, Mission and Values”, by Dianne Lucas, Managing Director CMDi. Drinks and dinner later that evening at the 5* Marker Hotel rooftop bar & terrace & brasserie.
DAY 2 – Friday 21st April 2023
Professional program
9.00am Intro by host Joe Lynam, Business Editor at Newstalk, and former BBC presenter who has worked for the European Commission. As a Dublin resident he will be the perfect host for the Conference. There will be a welcome by Marnix Van Hoe, Secretary General UFEMAT & John Newcomb, FEMAT President.

- “Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence” by Els Bedert, Director, Product Policy & Sustainability EuroCommerce.
- “Safety at Work & Vocational Training Building Materials” – on a local level by Fabrice Meeuw, General Manager CONSTRUCTIV
- “Safety at Work & Vocational Training Building Materials” – on an international level by Prof. Karl-Heinz Noetel, President of the International Section of the ISSA on Prevention in the Construction Industry
- “ETIM – Unifying Data” by Jeroen Van Der Holst (Microsoft)
- “Added Value of a Membership Buying Group” by Keith Giblin, CEO of Allied Merchants Buying Association
There will be a Q&A session compered by Joe Lynam.
In the afternoon there will be a high-level reception and tour of Microsoft Dublin European HQ and a partners’ program.
