IITC is the Irish distributor for AMES Tools, bringing the brand’s
comprehensive cutting and pruning range to hardware retailers across Ireland.
The AMES Tools cutting and pruning collection comprises 19 product introductions, offering retailers a broad selection of tools designed to cover everything from precision pruning and trimming to heavier-duty cutting tasks.
The range includes six pruners, with bypass and anvil options alongside compact and multi-function models and a ratchet anvil pruner. Four shears include hand, hedge, geared hedge and telescopic hedge shears, while the lopper range features seven options, including geared, long-reach, compound action and ratchet models in both bypass and anvil formats. The collection is complemented by precision snips and a folding pruning saw.
A key feature across the range is the use of SK5 Japanese carbon steel, selected for its hardness, durability and wear resistance. Many of the blades are also PTFE coated, providing smooth cutting, rust resistance and lasting sharpness. The range also incorporates ergonomic handles and precision-tensioned blades across selected products, with a 15-year guarantee applying across the AMES Tools range.
The collection has been designed to address different gardening requirements, with bypass tools suited to cutting live green stems, while anvil options are designed for tougher, woody and dead stems. Long-reach and geared options provide additional choice for customers tackling larger or harder-to-reach growth. With autumn an important period for pruning and garden maintenance, the AMES Tools cutting and pruning range gives Irish hardware retailers a comprehensive selection to meet customer requirements.
