As part of a global volunteering initiative, Time4Water, a campaign that mobilises Orbia employees to take action around water stewardship, the team at Wavin Ireland recently undertook a Beach Clean at the local Balbriggan Beach. They cleared 10 bags of rubbish from this beautiful local amenity.
Time4Water, which celebrated World Water Day, saw participation from thousands of Orbia employees across more than 30 countries, and in 2025 won an International CSR Excellence Award for outstanding social impact. The initiative urges us all to think about water, the most essential resource for life on earth, which is under significant stress due to numerous factors including climate change, urbanisation and population growth.
