In memory of Con Coakley

It is with deep regret that Dosco inform the trade of the passing of their dear friend Con Coakley. Con worked in Dosco as a sales rep from 1965 to 2000. He started working with Dosco while Dosco was working out of the old Merchants Quay site in Cork. He would have seen the company grow substantially following its move to the South Douglas Road. During his years of loyal service to Dosco, Con began dealing with a great number of customers in the Dublin area and the West of Ireland territory in particular. Many of the customers he worked with are still customers of Dosco today. When Con retired his territory was taken over by Alan Flynn in the West of Ireland and John Delaney in the Dublin territory – where they continue to build on the work started by Con.

A native of Cork, Con lived most of his life in Drumcondra and was often known to rub shoulders with the greats in Fagan’s of Drumcondra. Con is still fondly remembered and to this day is still asked after by his former customers.

He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, work colleagues and customers.
