We all know about the importance of credit control within Hardware and Building Materials businesses, both to ensure adequate cash flow and to maintain excellent customer relationships. Sometimes the credit control function is either taken for granted or goes unnoticed until something goes wrong.
Hardware Association Ireland are delighted to be sponsoring the Hardware Credit Team of the Year Category. This recognises excellence in credit and will be presented at the forthcoming Irish Credit Team Awards.

The awards are very motivational from your team’s perspective. If shortlisted, they are invited to attend the Awards Lunch, where they get to meet all the top credit teams from all over Ireland and get to celebrate their successes.
Your team doesn’t have to be perfect to enter, the awards are judged on their role within the business and the contribution and improvements made in the current year, there are no limits on team numbers so if you have a team of two or a team of fifty, you are still eligible to apply.
In addition to the Credit Team Awards there are special Awards for the top Credit Controller and Credit Manager, who have made a difference to their companies and deserve to be recognised.
This is your opportunity to build a stronger team and to increase your focus on excellence in credit management, that can have a major impact on your sales, your customer engagement and your overall profitability.
The deadline for applications is Friday September 11th. Finalists will be announced on Friday October 2nd, and winners will be announced at the Awards Lunch on Friday November 20th at the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire.
